Buyer Representation Agreement
What It Means
As a REALTOR® , I am required to have a written Buyer Representation Agreement in place before showing homes. This agreement simply outlines how we will work together. Here's what it covers:
1. Representation
It confirms that I am representing you as your agent and fiduciary. My role is to advocate for your interests, negotiate on your behalf, and guide you through the transaction from start to finish.
2. Compensation
It explains how compensation works. In many cases, compensation is offered through the seller, but the agreement clarifies how that is handled and what happens if it is not.
3. Term & Scope
It outlines the time period we agree to work together and the geographic area covered.
4. Professional Expectations
It establishes clear communication expectations and ensures that we are aligned in our working relationship.
Important:
You are not obligated simply by completing an inquiry form. We will review the agreement together, answer questions, and make sure you are comfortable before signing anything. My goal is transparency, professionalism, and protection — for both of us.
